Our company can satisfy specific needs: we can offer High Definition videosurveillance systems, also defined as Megapixels, for applications in which the quality of image is a relevant issue.

Technology evolution has brought to High Definition (HD) introduction also in videosurveillance systems. PlanetVal is pleased to show the first low data rate HD camera on the Italian market, the very first camera capable to overcome application limits due to storage capacity and streaming broadband requirement to HD support. Some producers crossed the inconvenient of HD videocamera’s high band capacity by supplying it with an onboard disk instead of allowing signal’s distribution by video streaming on the network, thus denying scalability and distribution benefits demanded by IP network videosurveillance system. The solution proposed by Indigovision, our technological partner, in the realization of CCTV complex projects, consists of a HD IP Camera H.264, equipped with a compression engine implemented with dedicated hardware, namely Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), which allows high performance in HD format compression.
